Jeremy and Janice Beck

I may be small, but I am just what was needed for my new family. After my last couple left I thought for sure I would die from a broken heart...that was, until little Samuel ran through my doors! With that infectious laugh and sun blinding grin, I was hooked. And then walked in Janice and her husband, Jeremy. You could tell that they were genuine, fun and easy going.

look!

it's me!

look!

it's me!

i may be small,

but i am just

what was needed

for my new family.

The best part about my new family? Getting to see my neighbors again! It seems I am always full of people relaxing around the fire pit listening to Jeremy play the guitar. Can't get any better than this!

I watch as Janice and Jeremy get ready for their weekly date night and walk down my street full of cute make-overs to Little Five Points for a concert to, as they say, "keep the honeymoon rocking"! Totally shameless.

I love to hear Janice and Samuel when they begin to go on their neighborhood walks to the popular mini market, or the old-time hobby shop or my personal favorite the tiny hardware store and she tells him captivating stories or sings her songs to him. Songs she wrote when she was pregnant with him. And just the other day, for the first time, from my back in my kitchen I heard them singing them together.

Samuel loves going on adventures stretching from my backyard to all over Grant Park. And thankfully, Jeremy and his vintage cameras are there to capture it for all of us to share and watch and enjoy if our outdoor festivals and block parties and front porch family concerts ever slow down. I just love being a great place for Jeremy and Janice to live, play and raise our little Samuel.

THE

END.
